Review of Casino Del Rio

Casino Del Rio is run on the infamous Playtech software so before you even start you know that you’re going to be in for some fun. The casino is supposed to resemble a Caribbean island but to be honest it could be anything! The first thing that I noticed when I arrived at the home page was two annoying pop ups – one to tell me that if I spin the slots now I could win a huge jackpot and the second was asking me to download the software. I hate pop ups and I hate even more having to close the annoying little critters so I wasn’t off to a good start at Casino Del Rio. They also boast that they are ‘the world’s first eco-casino’, their pledge is that they will plant a tree for every player that registers!

PLAY NOW!

You can play either by downloading their free software, or you can play instantly via their flash version. The option to play the flash version is quite well hidden though, they obviously would prefer you to use their software. You have access to over 100 games with the software and just under half of this amount if you play instantly. There are a good variety of games available, all the table classics are there along with some old and new types of slots. As with all Playtech run casino’s the graphics and gameplay are nothing short of spectacular and you really feel ‘in the thick of it’. Navigation is a downside though as it took a bit of working out on my behalf to figure out where I was supposed to be going.

They offer a $600 bonus on the home page but when looking at the terms it is only 100% match on your first deposit up to $100 – the rest is paid out at 50% up to $50 over the next 10 months!!!!!

There are certainly better casino’s out there but on the whole Casino Del Rio isn’t a bad site – it just needs a little bit more TLC.
